PATRICK J. PROCHASKA
Graduating from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln College of Dentistry, Dr. Prochaska moved to Minneapolis and co-founded Uptown Smiles. In 2005 he co-founded Cannon Falls Smiles. Dr. Prochaska wanted to bring his special style of relaxed, yet outstanding dental services to the beautiful Cannon Falls River Valley area. Through the years Dr. Prochaska has worked hard to maintain a personal touch and sense of community in his practice by serving family members of all ages with comprehensive dental services. He is a member of the Seattle Study Club which is comprised of the top dentists in the country to provide advanced treatment solutions to solve the most challenging patient needs. Recently, Dr. Prochaska has introduced Botox Therapeutics to relieve TMJ disorders, jaw pain, headaches and to reduce the wear on teeth due to clenching and grinding. He is a member of The American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). Dr. Prochaska also sees a limited patient group at Bay Creek Dental in Plymouth, MN. Dr. Prochaska has served locally on the Cannon Falls Chamber of Commerce Board. His personal hobbies include biking, gardening, pottery and getting away to "the cabin".
NANCY J. HAMILTON
Dr. Hamilton is deeply committed to exceptional care and is known for her compassionate regard for the dental health and personal wellbeing of each and every one of her patients. One of her advanced specialities is orthopedic orthodontics, helping patients to improve their airway for more restful sleep. Dr. Hamilton is recognized nationally for her expertise in children’s growth and development orthodontics. Proper newborn nursing can benefit an infant for a lifetime , Dr. Hamilton pays particular attention to tethered oral tissues (TOTS) early on so they do not become an impediment to proper breathing, growth, and development. Dr. Hamilton utilizes the CO2 laser in revisions of tongue and lip ties for infants, children, and adults. A graduate of The University of Nebraska College of Dentistry, Dr. Hamilton co-founded the Uptown Smile Dental Clinic and grew the practice over 35 years until joining Creekside Dental in 2018. She also co-founded Cannon Falls Smiles in 2006 where she still also practices. Dr. Hamilton is a member of the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry, the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Dr. Hamilton works with the top dentists in the country to provide advanced guidance in complicated treatment and case planning for patients with the most challenging restorative and/or physiological needs. Her personal hobbies include training her dogs, scuba diving, snow skiing, fitness training, and golf.
Licensed Dental Assistant
Erika is the newest member of the Cannon Falls Smiles team and has been a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) since 2013. Erika lives out in the country near Kenyon with her husband, Matt and 2 beautiful daughters. Erika enjoys spending time on the farm with her family and animals.
Registered Dental Hygenist
Danelle has been a hygienist at Cannon Falls Smiles for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Minnesota. Danelle lives in Cannon Falls with her husband, Dan, and her two children. One is in college at the University of Iowa and one attends Cannon Falls High School. When she is not working, she enjoys walking and traveling to see her daughter play softball.
Registered Dental Assistant
Sharon graduated from the Dental Assistant Program in Rochester in 1978. I started in Cannon Falls in 2000. This has been a great career for me. Rick is my husband and we have three grown sons and four grandchildren - who are the best part of life! We enjoy being together as a family. Our time at the lake cabin is spent boating, tubing, swimming and playing yard games. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, walking, gardening and quilting.
Lisa has been the receptionist and office manager at Cannon Falls Smiles since 2009. She and her husband, Chris live in Red Wing and have 4 grown children - 3 sons and a daughter. She is also a grandmother to a grandson and four granddaughters between the ages of 8 months and 12 years old. She enjoys spending her spare time at their cabin up north where she enjoys fishing year round, playing bean bags, or riding around in a side-by-side. She also enjoys reading and long walks.
